Clearance of your household goods entering Canada is required and is performed in person at a Canada Customs Facility near your final destination or where permitted.

Atlantic Van Lines is not permitted to deliver your personal possessions to your new destination until the shipment is cleared by Canada Customs Agent.

Here is what you may need to clear your shipment:

    • Proof of residence in USA or Canada
    • Reason for relocation
    • Valid passport
    • Work/Student Visa

In most cases, Canada Customs may impose a clearance fee to clear the shipment. Those fees are in addition to any shipping fees and would be paid by the shipper to Canada Customs directly.
